The 50 Hour Slam is a yearly film competition where teams gather, receive surprise criteria and have 50 hours to create a short film (writing, shooting, post-production). It’s a blitz! After the films are submitted they receive feedback and votes from the community. Tomorrow night at The Magic Lantern Theater the films will be screened at two different times, voted on and winners will be announced. There’s also live poetry reading, two bands (Cathedral Pearls and Bias) performing on the rooftop of The Saranac Building. It should be a fun event full of local artists of many different mediums. Entrance is $10.
