There’s some great shows around the corner in Spokane. Here’s a few we think are worth checking out to finish out the summer.

Hockey Band in Spokane

Hockey was a Spokane band for a short time several years ago. They went on to sign with a major label, tour nationally and for a while were selling out theaters in the UK. They just released their second full length album after becoming a two-piece again and are going on another national tour. The new record is a bit more mellow than previous releases, but Hockey is always a dynamic live show. This is a great chance to check out the new northside venue, The Center if you haven’t made it up there yet. /// Facebook Event

Avett Brothers at Festival at Sandpoint

Don’t need to say much about this show. The Avett Brothers are amazing live and it will be great to see a local favorite, Marshall Mclean share the stage with them on August 10th. /// Website and Tickets

Mama Doll Spokane

Mama Doll is a new Spokane favorite. These ladies have talent, unique vocals and creative songwriting skills. Excited to see them live for the first time! The rest of the show is packed with local female talent including the amazing Hannah Reader (also from My Pinky Has a Name). /// Facebook Event

The Black Lillies in Spokane

The Black Lillies are a great americana act from Tennessee. Definitely a perfect show for fans of artists like Allison Krause, Ryan Adams and Gillian Welch. They also seem like a friendly bunch. Add in some whiskey and you have the perfect combination for a old timey dive bar show at Carr’s Corner downtown. /// Facebook Event
