Part of the buzz around the literary scene is built upon the fact that we have an amazing literary journal. I wrote a bit about the infrastructure that is so strong in Spokane around the Lit scene recently and RiverLit is one of those important components. Giving artists and writers a platform, funding to do their work and a growing audience.

Keely Honeywell is the sustainer of RiverLit. She’s a writer, an amazing designer and one of the most hardworking people in Spokane. She continues to take RiverLit to new heights each year and has championed a beautiful brand that has become a classy window which we can view art through. Some say print is dead, but RiverLit is working to keep it alive and they need our help. To continue their work and fund their residency program they are doing another online fundraiser. Check it out here and show your support. There’s lots of great incentives, so you have no excuses!

You can also apply to be an artist in residency! Submissions will be accepted through November 30th. Visit the RiverLit site for more information.
