Practise // New Art by Eric Smith

Eric Smith is a local designer and artist we’ve celebrated since the very first few design features here on Collect! His work is always pushing Spokane out of it’s northwest comfort zone into more minimal, modern, aesthetically restrained territory. Design with a sense of efficiency and purpose.

This month Eric is showing a new collection of prints he’s calling, “Practise”. Eric says, “As a contemporary graphic designer, I find it essential to nurture a stream of self-initiated projects that encourage growth, independent thinking, and fun.” With equal parts whimsy and positivity the show creates a peaceful and simple sense.

It’s up now at The Bartlett and there will be a special reception on February 28th where you can chat with Eric about his thought process behind the collection and purchase one of the limited edition prints for sale. Read more about Practise here, and check out info on the reception here. Prints will also be available on the Practise website in the near future.
