Chris Bovey unintentionally started a rad trend when he began his Landmark Print series. Another local artist and screen printer, Derrick King has jumped on board with this great tribute to Doyle’s, one of Spokane’s most beloved neighborhood ice cream shops. Derrick lives down the street from Doyle’s and decided to design this awesome print based on the business. He also put together an “OPEN” sign for them to use.

What a cool example of a creative individual using their talent in a way that builds up their neighborhood and community. It’s inspiring to see more and more self-initiated projects with artists around the Spokane area lately. Hopefully it inspires you as well to do something not only creative, but impactful in the near future.
